David Bailey combines legal expertise, financial services leadership, emerging AI technologies, and cross-industry collaboration, David brings a strategic perspective to organizational governance, operational excellence, business transformation, and sustainable growth. His multidisciplinary background positions him to advise leadership teams, strengthen institutional partnerships, navigate complex regulatory environments, and support innovative enterprises addressing significant global challenges.
David earned his Master of Legal Studies summa cum laude from Trinity Law School and holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
Beyond financial services, David has worked with entrepreneurial and multidisciplinary teams advancing groundbreaking initiatives across technology, energy, transportation, and entertainment. These teams have pioneered aviation innovations, including FAA-approved jetpack integration, developed next-generation luxury transportation platforms, and advanced innovative energy technologies, alternative fuels, and sustainable waste management systems.
Through these collaborations, David has gained exposure to transformative business models, emerging technologies, and strategic approaches influenced by Harvard's Technology Innovation Lab-to-Market framework, MIT methodologies, and Blue Ocean Strategy.
David is a financial services and risk management leader with over 16 years of experience spanning regulatory compliance, corporate governance, financial crimes investigations, operational risk management, and strategic business development.
Recently an Assistant Vice President at Citibank, David has held leadership roles at MoneyGram International and Texas Capital Bank, overseeing compliance operations, investigative teams, risk mitigation, and regulatory processes. His background also includes 10 years of military service as an Army National Guard Chief Paralegal and Counter-Drug Intelligence Analyst, supporting legal operations and complex investigations.
